In Oslo, there is no shortage of restaurant options. Once my friend and I decided we wanted Thai food, we still had more than 50 restaurants to choose from! It was such a hard decision, after a lot of thinking (and getting lost), Tuk Tuk Thai was our choice, and a choice we were thrilled by.
I must say, it was not the easiest location to find. Google Maps had us walking around in circles for a while. Finally (after asking a local for help), we found Tuk Tuk Thai. Decor was cheesy in my option, however it really added to the experience. If you weren’t facing a window, you could almost pretend you were in sunny Thailand by the beach, instead of in cold Oslo.
Our server recommended the Thai Basil Wok, I decided to order that as I was craving something extra spicy. It was FANTASTIC! Back home in St. John’s, Newfoundland there are no Thai restaurants, and I hadn’t realized how much I missed it. I truly enjoyed every single bite of my meal.
Service was quick and causal, perfect spot for friends to meet up before going to a show or shopping afterwards. Of all the Thai choices in Oslo, I feel like this one had to be near the top in food quality and flavour. When I’m back in Oslo I will 100% be going back for some more Tuk Tuk Thai!! Every bit of 4/5 stars.
Until next time,
